On 5 January 2023 in Montreal, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Montreal Eugene Czolij attended a reception on the occasion of the New Year at the invitation of the Consul General of France in Montreal Sophie Lagoutte, where he thanked her for France’s support of Ukraine and for the announcement by President Emmanuel Macron that France is the first country to undertake to send to Ukraine Western-made light armored combat vehicles.
